About

Hi I’m Amy, I’m an aspiring musician from Bristol, UK.

My musical journey began at age 6 when I started learning the violin. However, it wasn’t until I was 12 that I began having piano lessons and 15 that I took up learning the organ.

Since taking piano to the next level I have discovered so many wonderful opportunities, such as being a member of Bristol Pre-Conservatoire, an orchestral pianist with the Brunel Symphony Orchestra, and many solo and ensemble performance opportunities in places such as Bristol Cathedral, St George’s, Colston Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall and St David’s Hall Cardiff, Dora Stoutsker Hall, Schott Music London, Llandaff Cathedral and Christ Church Radyr.

I have been fortunate enough to have lessons from incredible teachers that have supported my aspirations, some include: Allan Schiller, Melanie Spanswick, James Kirby, Alison Bowring and James Willshire.

I currently work at RWCMD Junior College as an accompanist, Christ Church Radyr as the Director of Music and work as a freelance accompanist across Wales and the South West.

I took my ATCL diploma in piano performance in September 2016.
